SHORT FILM 2020-21: 2ND CALL FOR APPLICATIONS

At Northern Ireland Screen’s sole discretion factual shorts may be filmed outside Northern Ireland with Northern Ireland creative talent and crew attached. All post should take place in Northern Ireland. The writer/director must have directed at least one live-action fiction or factual short film independently and the film must be available to view online.

Who:
Artists who have experience of working in participatory settings with diverse audiences, and welcome applications from both established and early career practitioners.

GRANTS TO HELP NEW INNOVATIVE ARTS PROJECTS

The Elephant Trust was set up in 1975 to make it possible for artists and those presenting their work to undertake and complete projects when frustrated by a lack of funds. It is committed to helping artists and art institutions/galleries that depart from the routine and signal new, distinct and imaginative sets of possibilities.

Established and early professional artists

Details:

Priority is given to artists in the fine arts and small organisations and galleries who should submit well argued, imaginative proposals for making or producing new work or exhibitions. Limited to £2000.

FUND FOR INTERNATIONAL ARTISITIC COLLABORATION (UK)

UK Arts Councils to Pilot New Fund for International Artistic Collaboration (UK) Creative Scotland, Arts Council England, Arts Council Northern Ireland and Arts Council of Wales. Including exchanges, residencies, partnership development, co-creation and networking, with priority given to applications experimenting with innovative models of international collaboration.

Grants of between £1,000 - £5,000 will be available from a total budget of £100,000 for in-person, digital or hybrid activity

FUNDING TO SUPPORT CREATIVE PRACTITIONERS (SCOTLAND)

The Open Fund for Individuals is one of Creative Scotland’s key funding programmes, supporting the wide range of activities initiated by artists, writers, producers and other creative practitioners in Scotland.

Who:
Freelance and self-employed artists and creative practitioners living in Scotland who are at least 18 years old.
Deadline:
No deadline. You can apply year-round.
Details:
You can apply for between £500 and £100,000.
FUNDING THE DEVELOPMENT AND CREATION ARTS EXPERIENCES, WALES

“Create” is about providing opportunities for individuals and organisations to produce and present their best work. This can mean funding the production and presentation of work, the development of new ideas and / or supporting individual or organisations to develop through training or business growth and change

THE EATON FUND

The Eaton Fund is a charity that looks to supply small funding grants towards artists materials and framing for exhibitions. We work with women and nurses in hardship situations.

Who:
Painters, potters, sculptors and photographers, not performing artists. UK Citizens
Deadline:
No deadline. You can apply year-round.
Details:
Individual funds for projects usually don't exceed £300 maximum budget for applicants
